Assistant Professor Umut Başaran Honored with TÜBİTAK 1005 Project Support

Assistant Professor Umut Başaran from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Özyeğin University has been awarded funding under the prestigious TÜBİTAK 1005 - National Research Program for New Ideas and Products for his project titled “Design and Development of a Next-Generation, Scalable, and Multifunctional Electronic Control Unit for 48V Automotive Electrical Systems.”

The project aims to design and develop an innovative electronic control unit optimized for next-generation 48V automotive electrical architectures, addressing the growing demands for energy efficiency and electric vehicle technologies. By integrating multiple functions into a single compact system, the project seeks to achieve significant advantages in cost, size, and energy efficiency within vehicle electronics.
